VENICE, Jan. 13 —(Special)— More than 200 programs and invi tations to the air show and exer cises to be held here Jan. 23 during the dedication of the Fred Albee airport hangar are speeding north ward to New York by plane today for personal distribution by Wes Raymond, prominent aviator and former airport operator here. In order to aid in preparations for the air show, Mr. Raymond flew here Wednesday afternoon aboard a new five-place Beechcraft plane from Macon, Ga., and after confer ring with city officials’ and Les Lewis, committee chairman for the air show, he left for New York with literature to distribute in in viting flyers to bring their planes here for the dedication. After checking over plans and the city and the Venice Aviation club on the efficient and thorough manner in which the preparations are being carried on. During the afternoon, the Beech craft plane, powered by a $cylin der Wright Whirlwind motor and with a cruising speed of 202 miles per hour, was called into service for repeated flights over the town during which city officials and members of the local aviation school were given sky-rides.
