James Evans, a well known, resident of Summit county who for years made his home in Peoa, died 'Wednesday last at St, Mark's hospital, after ashort illness with pneumonia. He was about fifty years of age, and is survived by a wife, who is a sister of N, B, Snnpp, the well known resident of Oaklev, Deceased was a member of Uintah Lodge, No. 7, F, and A,St., of this city, and the funeral will be held Sunday under its auspices, interment taking place at Oakley,this county. The news of tlic gentleman's death was a great shock to his many friends, and to liis bereaved wife ant! relatives sincere sympathy is extended.
