Mrs. Ely at Coxville.Mrs. Alice Ferguson of Terre Haute has been visiting her sister, Mrs. Geo Evans who with her husband recently purchased a farm east of town and moved) from Terre Haute,Lawrence Nash spent the holidays at his home in Paxton.Miss Arpie Foulke has been unable to take charge of her school for several weeks on account of ill health.Mrs. 0. E. Miller went to Terre Haute Monday.John R. Ferrel was in ,Terre Haute Monday the 5th and spent the day with his parents it being their 58th wedding ) anniversary, t Mrs. A. M. Glick, little daughter Evaand brother Roy Staggs spent the holidays with their sister Mrs. Geo. Carter at Dickson, Tenn.Mrs. John Unger, Misses Edith and i Lou Jeffres and Mrs. Minnie Jackson 1 are Terre Haute people who have bCen 1 visiting Cory friends recently.1 The schools closed here Monday noon* for two dlays on account of scarcity of coal.Rev. Gnithef1 preached an excellent sermon Sunday morning for the I. O. O. F. lodge. Members of the lodge met at their hall and attended church in abody- :The meeting which has been in progress here a week has been well attended and much interest is being manifested.
