Mrs. Mary Mahan of this city, who recently celebrated her 102d, birthday, is a spry lady with very good vision, notwithstanding she wears spectacles. She is fond^of qld-fashioned ways, and persists in having her room lighted with a candle instead of a lamp. Her favorite occupation is knitting, and this she follows almost constantly. She lives with her daughter, Mrs, Arkins.
