Y.Charles Fultz wa* born December 18, 18G6, departed this life, near Jerome, Shenandoah county, Va., January 8, 1897; aged 20 years and 20 days.The deceased was the eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. Isaac J. Foltz. These fond parents deemed it their duty to dedicate their children to God in Holy Baptism. They are endeavoring to rear them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord. The deceased, after being properly instructed in doctrines and duties of the Christian religion, entered into full communion with the Evangelical Lutheran Church through the ancient rite of confirmation. In this connection he lived a devoted life until death put au end to his earthly existence. He was a young man of noble qualities, llis character was above reproach, and though afilicted for several years previous to his last Illness, he gave evidence of future usefulness.
