After considerable consul taiion on the subject, it was considered best to let each member select his own subject, and the following are the various subjects selected by the different members: — Dr. W. W. Baker, Mental Arithmetic and Responsibilities of teachers; Mr. J. W. Holt. English Grammar and Advantages derived from teachers’ Institute; Mr. J. W. Thornton, Writing; Mr. G. W.
