Vvh call attention to the advertisement in this number, of the Gallatin Valley Female Seminary. This is one of the best institutions of the kind in the Territory. Mr. and Mrs. Crittenden are experienced teachers, having devoted the greater part of their lives to it; and Miss Crittenden and her assistant, Miss Aylesworth, are both competent and experienced. A young lady attending this Seminary, will have as good an opportunity of acquiring a finished education as she would by attending the best schools in the States. A lot of laud, comprising forty acres, was purchased for this Seminary, last fail, upon which was a build- ’ ing, which, with some repairing, lias made j a very comfortable and convenient school | house, and we understand it is the intention to enlarge as circumstances will justify. We would be glad to see this, and every other institution of leardingin the Territory, in a flourishing condition, for nothing adds more to the prosperity and intelligence of a community.
