HEAD OF ENGLISH-BIVINS FIELD BIDS FOR OPERATION _ Officials of the Aircraft Holdings, saw, conferred with City Engineer H. B. Jones and members of the Airport commission yesterday with reference to operating the Municipal Airport commission. yesterday when it is com pleted, Dayton EF. Dalbey, Albu querque, manager of the organization and T. Thornton Oxnard, vice presi dent, visited Amarillo. In company with Mr. Jones and members of the commission the vis itors inspected plans and the ground at the Municipal airport yesterday afternoon. The Aircraft Holdings, Inc., will submit a proposal for oper ating the airport for the city. “Mr. Oxnard is president of the Amarillo Airport Corporation which operates the English-Bivins airport. The Aircraft Holdings, Inc., have plans completed for several airlines between the United States and Mex ico including a line from Juarez to Mexico City and from Mexico City to Mazatlan. They are negotiating for other ports and aircraft enter prizes. *We are not interested in exclu sive rights at the Municipal airport or in establishing our own transcon tinental lines,” said Mr. Dalbey yes terday.” Mr. James G. Oxnard, presi dent of the Aircraft Holdings, Inc., is now in California conferring with officials of the Western Air Express concerning arrangements for aviation development in the Southwest.”
