Local Bank ShowsCreditable GainsFollowing' the annual meeting 01 the stockholders of the Gunnison Valley bank held in this city Tuesday morning, theVjffieers and stockholders of the institution were highly elated over the showing made during the past year and the prediction was freely made that the coming year would _ see a meritorious increase in business.The financial report submitted at themeeting showed a large increase as;compared with a year ago. This condition, it is said, is the result of a better beet harvest, general crop conditions and the splendid prices received bv the stockmen for cattleand sheep. Promises for the comingagricultural season look highly encouraging and indications are that i hum per harvests will result and nut- ■ urally farmers will be helped in a financial way.At the election of officers, no hange was made. 0.
