RatUry, coinmissiotier of provincial police, in a report from inspector G. J. Trouble arose* between them November 9, when ^Chura, senior, complained tbit his,son was not roofing his barn proper-, jyly. Three days later the father told I *his son to leave and threatened to put an end to his mother. His mother went to her sou in-law’s home in Rivers.Pete Lucbuk and his wife, son-in-law and daughter of the Churas. visited the Rapid City farm Nov. 15 Chura senior told them Stephen had gone to the asylum aud later said he had gone hunting lost cattle. A week later they again visited him He said Stephen had gone to Moline on Nov. 16 or 17, drawn a lo‘ad \straw, cleaned the stable, eaten supper about 6 p.m and then left the farm. He had not seen diun since:Inspector Neill and GpnstablApeo Ingram searched the premises Jan. 5, but could find no trace of the body. Snow hindered thier search to such an extent that, if Stephen bad tjeen murdeted, hi*? body may not be found until theVpiing thaws the officers said.When they questioned the father he maintained that he knew nothing of his son's whereabouts.
