MADERA, Jan. 12.--Jack King ston, a volunteer fireman, was electro cuted here last night by coming in contact with 4 live wire while fighting a fire which destroyed a small resi dence in the Hayes addition. One of the arc light wires had broken and fallen to the ground, and although a dozen people warmed him not to touch it Kingston did not seem to realize the danger and picked it up. His death was instantaneous, 2200 volts passing through his body. Kingston leaves a wife and three young children.
