Wilkinson, chairman of the executive council, offered a resolution endorsing the plan of having forestry taught in the public schools.The officers elected for the ensuing year are: Henry K. Hardtner, Urania, Ca., president ; W. O. Hart, New Orleans: H. H. Wheless, Shreveport, and Tom C. Wingate, Leesville, vice presidents; Mrs. A. B. Avery, Shreveport, secretary and treasurer. Executive council: At-large, Mrs. J. D. Wilkinson of Shreveport, Harry Gamble of Winn-field. M. C. Lamley of Leesville; Dis-tricts: Charles P. Johnson, New Orleans, first; Miss Grace King, New Orleans, second; Prof. Alleraan, Baton Rouge, third; T. J. Davis. Leesville, fourth; J. W. Elder, Farmervillc. fifth: Fred J.
