Same day died, at Paddington, of the gout in his head and frornach, Colonel John Peters, who was born at Hebron, in Connecticut, June 1740 He was defcended from a brother of Hugh Peters and General Thomas Harrifon, and on his mother’s fide from John Phelps, Efq. characters well known in the Jafi century to Cromwell and Thurlow.
