DIED AT HALSEY, ORE..Former Oxford Resident Passes Away at Her Home in Oregon.Word was received here Friday of the death of Mrs. H. Vanderiip at Halsey, Oregon. Mrs. Vanderiip had been in poor health for some weeks; an operation was deemed necessary, and performed; but all to no avail. She never rallied after the operation, and from the time of its performance until her death she knew no one. ,Mrs. R. P. Jones of this place, a daughter of the de-ceased, had received word of the critical condition of her mother some time ago, and hastened at once to her bedside. She arrived before death came, but not in time for her mother to recognize her Arrangements were made for burial at this place and, accompanied by Mrs. Jones, the body wassent from Halsey Sunday, arriving here last night.
