trust urDever Sends First Parcel.David Dever, the jeweller, sent the first package out of Marble by the Dew parcels post. Since then the local postottice has received a number of parcels for mailing but not near as many as there will be after the people come to understand the law a little better. Just now all this talk about zones, etc., has most people guessing, but they’ll get onto the thing after awhile and the parcels post is destined to do a big business. A point the local merchants will do well to take a tip from The Booster on is to get a lot of catalogues of various wholesale houses and when a customer wants an article that is not kept in stock here show him the catalogue and take his order, then have the wholesale house deliver the goods directly to the customer by parcels post. In this way the merchant will be fighting the mail order people with their own weapons.
