Mary Catherine was the daughter 1 of Samuel Biinnick, and was born in ft Bedford eonnty, Pennsylvania, February 10, 1839, She was married to Sam- jj uel W. Dragoo at Montpelier, Ind., Oct.15, 1858, but for many years their home Y has been in this place. She was the e mother of six children, of whom three survive her, namely: Mrs. A. L. Hat- F field, H. F. and Geo. A. Dragoo.While Mrs. Dragoo treaded the hum- ^ ble walks of life thfre was no one who was more esteemed and respecfc-^ ed by all who knew her. She was a ^ fc zealous church and Sunday-school worker in the General Baptist church and for a a fifty years had been a teacher in the , Sunday-school.
