HfrnesUl.Mr. Wm. H. Carroll, of the wholesale boot and shoe house of Hamilton, Brown Co., St. Louis, and Miss Ettik, the'.beautilul and accomplished daughter of Maj. Win. Massey, were married by Rev. J. I). Biggs at the residence of the bride’s father^yestcrday at 2 o’clock, in the presence of a large number of the more intimate friends of both parties who had assembled to witness the nuptl ceremony and extend congratulations to the newly wedded pair. The brides presents were numerous uml very elegant, consisting in part of a beautiful tea eel (8 pieces) and water pitcher from A. D. Brown, J.M. Hamilton and E. F. Williams, of Hamilton, Brown Co., St. Louis; solid sDver butter dish by Mrs. J. W. Harrison, St. Louis : solid silver son;- ladle by Mr. and Mrs. R. W. Richardson,St. | Louis ; handsome toilot sot by J. L. j Walter and E. D. Blossom, St. Louis pair of handsomely engraved nut-glass i vases with silver holders by Mr. and j Mrs. Jno. C. Martin, St. Louis ; handsome set of cameo and gold jewelry by Mr. mid Mrs. 11 (). Dow, Springfield ; hodsomc pair bronzed picture frames withstand by Capt. and Mrs. W. S. Johnson. Springfield; beautiful pair •Oltnir diamond ear bobs and large gold necklace with gold locket charm by bridegroom.The joyous couple left here at J o’clock on u bridal tour to New Orleans, from | whence they will return to St. Louis and take rooms at the Planters’ House.
