EDWARDSPORT — Mrs. Myrtle Adams presided at the meeting of the U and I club which met with Mrs. Ruth Shepard. Final plans were, discussed for the eye supper, to be held,and. flower. committee was appointed which includes Mrs. Cordia Sawyer, Mrs. Ruth Shepard and Mrs. Nell Wodruff. The February meeting 1 be with Mrs. Cordin Sawyer. The Mizpah benediction was re peated in dismissal. Refreshments were served to Mrs. Laura Fields. Mrs. Pearl Hash, Mrs. Floy Thompson, Mrs. Myrtle Adams, Mrs. Maude Jones, Mrs. Pearl Wain man, Mrs. Nell Woodruff, Mrs. Cordin Sawyer and Mrs. Shepard, Mrs. George Ison and daughter, Judy, of Lorain, Ohio visited a few days with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Allen Morris. Mr. and Mrs. Howard Miller and son, Donnie, of Sullivan visited on Sunday with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. E. D. Miller and family. Miss Norma Jean Heidenreich of Brocton, Ill., spent the weekend with her mother, Mrs. Clelia Heidenreich. Mr. and Mrs. Burton Woodruff and son, Charles, of Greencastle spent Wednesday night and Thurs day with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Woodruff and daughter, Marilyn, Joyce and Billy returned home with their parents after a ll here with their grandparents. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Robert Bateman of Chicago visited a few days with Mr. Bateman’s uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. Carl Bateman and daughter, Barbara. Airman Robert Archer of Scott Field Air Base, Ill., spent Christmas here with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Archer. “Mr. and Mrs. Harold Canada and son, Ronnie, were callers in Vin cennes last week. Mr.’ and Mrs. Luther Blackburn of Oakland City spent Saturday with her brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Lucien Fields. Mrs. Hosea Land and daughter, Susan Denise, have come to their home from Good Samaritan Hospital. Airman Bob Archer and Jack Walters were callers in St. Louis, Saturday. Rev. William Crawford and Bruce Jackson were callers in Louisville, Tuesday. Mr. and Mrs. Rex Bringham of Linton visited on Sunday afternoon with Mr. and Mrs. Charles Archer and Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Boberg and son. Mr. and Mrs. Harold Land of Terre Haute spent Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Hosea Land and daughters, Christy and Susan, Mr. and Mrs. Lester Thompson spent New Year's with Mr. and Mrs. P. B. Welton in Vincennes. Mrs. Gabe Green of Bicknell spent New Year's Day with her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Spoonmore. Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Boberg and son, Jeffry Ray, returned to their home on Monday after spending the past week with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Archer. New Year’s dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Bateman and daugh ter, Barbara were Mrs. Alice Killion, Mr. and Mrs. Leon Killion and‘chil dren, Jean, Nancy and Richard. 6—0—0 PLAN CARD SHOWER FOR HERBERT ROE Mr. and Mrs. Vpple Roe would like for all the friends of their son, Herbert, remember him with a card shower on January 13.
