Floyd, in Owen township. Mr. Jonathan Floyd, aged 72 years.On Monday Mr. Floyd was apparently in his usual good health; in the evening he laid down upon his bed, fell into a sound sleep, from which he could not be awakened, anddied on the following evening.Mr. Floyd was born in North Carolina, came to this county upwards of thirty years ago, where he has resided ever since. He was a prominent citizen, was highly esteemed by all who knew liim, and his death will be sincerely mourned by a large circle of relatives and friends.
