No Action Seen On Campinelli Bond WELLSBURG — Judge Craig Broad water said Wednesday no action will be taken to release the $50,000 bond posted by Joe Coss for Joseph Campinelli Jr., 4%, the former city patrolman who jumped bond in December, until Cam pinelli is returned to Brooke County, Broadwater met with Coss and David Cross, prosecutor, Wednesday to discuss matters pertaining to the even tual return of Campinelli, who was ap rint Saturday in Phoneix by the FBI. Coss said he will pay the expenses for Campinelli’s return. According to Broadwater, Cass’ op tions in the matter were to forfeit the $50,000 or pay the expenses for Cam pinelli's return. Campinelli is scheduled to be ar raigned in an Arizona court today on a fugitive warrant. At that time, Cam pinelli will either agree to waive ex tradition or fight return to Brooke County. Woman Is Fined In Municipal Court STEUBENVILLE — Freda M. Smith of 901 N. Sixth St. was fined $100 plus court cost in municipal court Wednes day on a petit theft charge. Arthur O'Neill of 421 Washington St. was fined $100 plus court cost on a fic titious license plates charge. A leaving the scene of an accident count against him was continued. Steven J. Malara of 1310 Oregon Ave. was fined $20 plus court cost on a speeding violation. A criminal mischief count against Dean Mitchell of 321 Meadowbrook Drive, Wintersville, was continued. Computer Club Meeting Scheduled WEIRTON — West Virginia Northern Community College’s Weirton Campus Microcomputer Club will meet Jan. 28 from 6-7:30 p.m. and Jan. 30 from 1:30-3:30 p.m. in building D1 on the Park Avenue Campus. Vehicle Damaged STEUBENVILLE — A 1978 Volkswagen owned by Amy Pesta of B7-180 Ward Drive, RD 2, Steubenville, was damaged while parked in the let at Hill's Department Store Tuesday even ing, according to City Police. Officers said there was a hole above the driver’s door handle leading into the lock mechanism. Police said nothing appeared to have been disturbed in the vehicle
