Other friends and relatives of the Birnbaum's also attended.Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Woelfel and Roger, Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Foerster and girls, Mr. and Mrs. Louis Lehmann and Carolyn, Mrs. Lucy Foerster and Rhonda Foerster all had New Year’s dinner with Mr. and Mrs. Larry Woelfel.Saturday, Mr. and Mrs. Aron Maass visited Mr. and Mrs. Walter Jenke and reported that the Jenke’s are doing better after their hospital stay, although Mrs Jenke still has a cough. Sunday,Louis Farmer.Mr. and Mrs. Elton Maass and Shirley visited with the AronMaass’.Mr. and Mrs. George Wachs-mann and Mr. and Mr*. Melvin Wachsmann and Chris traveled to Lakefield, Minn, to visit with Mr and Mrs. Victor Wachsmann on Dec. 26. The trip was quite long taking from 4:00a.m. to 12:00 p.m. When the Wachsmann’s arrived they were also greeted by Pastor and Mrs. Willard Kassulke, Wesley, Dori and Marty from Nebraska. The 29th of December, Pastor Kassulke preached in Minnesota and then on the 30th the Kassulke’s returned to Nebraska. On the 1st of January the Geo. and Melvin Wachsmann’s went to visit in Nebraska with the Kassulke’s. They had planned to leave for home Friday but due to the heavyNOTICEThere will be a Manheim Baseball meeting Sunday, Jan. 19 at the Parish Hall at 1:30 p.m.26-2snow the Wachsmann’s had to stay until Saturday. Mrs. Geo. Wachsmann said that she had seen pictures of snowflake trees but never thought it could be so beautiful, but now she’s seen it with her own eyes. While in the frozen north they enjoyed a snowmobile ride in Minnesota and sled riding in Nebraska.On Christmas day Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Fischer and family, Mr. and Mrs Herbert Richter and family and Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Wachsmann and Chris all had dinner with Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Wachsmann.Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Wachsmann were pleased that they could visit with all of their children over the Christmas holidays.
