For AbramsFuneral services for the late Mrs* Alice Mae Brown Abrams’ were held Sunday January 5, 1969, 1:00 P.M., at KingdomHall of Jehovah Witnesses, 123 Tower Street by Ezekiel Rice, overseer, with burial in Magnolia Cemetery by Peoples Funeral Home.Mrs. Abrams was bom in Jefferson County, Florida to the late Elder and Mrs. Jeff Brown, January 31, 1883*She pledged herself to .^Christ at an early age and during her young yeafs served as an active member of the Mt. Pleasant AME and the Church of God and Christ. In 1950 she was united with the Jehovah Witnesses.Mrs. Abrams was looked upon by all as a religious woman and an honorable citizen, for not only did she talk and minister the truth but she also lived according to her Christian beliefs.On February 25,1905, she was married to the late Elder Jordan Abrams, Sr. with whom she lived for over fifty-five years. To this union eleven children were born, eight by whom are alive.Sister Abrams seemed to have made up her mind on the great beyond, and showed sips of readiness to join the saints of God. She passed this life,January 2, 1969, at 12:45 p.m.She leaves to mourn her passing right devoted children:Mrs. Eluica Kleckley, St. Petersburg, Fla.; Mrs. Lucile Franklin, Cleveland, Ohio, Mrs. Allie Mae Barnes,Chester, Pa., Mrs. Ruth Terrell, Hampton, k’n,; Mr. Lawrence Abrams, Coca. Fla.; Mrs. Priscilla Washington, Mr. Nathaniel Abrams, and Mrs. Sallie Pearl Abrams-all of Thomasville, Ga., 17 grand children and 21 great grand Children and a host of other relatives and friends.PEOPLE IN THE NEWSBY: MRS, S.
