Simmons were in Rhome, Sunday, visiting Mr. and Mrs. J. P. Simmons. Miss Mamye Ruth Harris has re turned to Big Springs to resume her teaching in the school. Mrs. W. W. Davis and family have moved into their new home, recently completed in Grapevine. Miss Faye Carloye has returned from a several days’ visit with Mr. and Mrs. Bill Pirkle in Fort Worth. Miss Lucile Bayless of Euless visit ed in the home of Mr. and Mrs. W. B. Alexander, several days last week Henry Willingham, Boone Lips comb, Joe Hicks and Huber Lipscomb spent a few days this week in Lufkin. Miss Imogene Alexander spent Sat urday night and Sunday in Euless with her grandmother, Mrs. Mary Jernigan, Mr. and Mrs. Efford Lipscomb, and Mr. and Mrs. Dowin Lipscomb of Ft. Worth visited their parents, Dr. and Mrs. R. S. Lipscomb; Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. W. C. Brown, Mr. and Mrs. Ed Withrow and son, Her man of #ert Worth, were In Grape vine Sunday, visiting relatives and friends Mr. and Mrs. Luther Martin and daughters, Nettie May and Willie Fay of Fort Worth and Gains Blevins of Sudan, spent Sunday with Ed Hig gins and family. Mr. and Mrs. R. P. Stewart and son have returned from a two months’ visit with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. C. E. Stewart of San Diego, California. Harry Wiggins returned to work with Lucas Funeral Homes, Inc., Wednesday, after having been con fined to his home several months on account of illness. Mrs. Lee Minzelmyer, Mrs. Adolph Gustafason and children, Miss Ella Quinn and James Quinn of Taylor were week-end guests of Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Coleman. Mr. and Mrs. Walter N. Perryman and Mrs. L. W. Bosley of Gainesville, and Mr. and Mrs. Wm. C. Thurman were in Hillsboro, Sunday, visiting Mr. and Mrs. O. H. Findley and family. Dr. and Mrs. T. J. Watkins of Healdton, Okla., stopped in Grape vine a short time Friday morning and visited Mr. and Mrs. Wm. C. Thur man. They were on their way home from a two months’ vacation in South Texas.
