New $60,000 ‘Dorm'Nears CompletionWork is nearly completed on the $00,000 building' at the State Institution for Feeble Minded Children here.Dr. Mogridge says that plana are being made to open the building about Feb. 1. The work has been going on since April, 1032. An appropriation of $60,000 was made to build and furnish this building. The cement and plumbing contract was awarded to Carstens Brothers of Ackley, Iowa, and the general contract went to Lippitt Brothers of Boone, Iowa.The building is constructed of tile and brick. It will be used as a dormitory and sleeping quarters. Ho dining room will be included. It will accommodate 100 boys of school age.
