Pope Makes Rapid Advances.!■c9IIcIVLieut. Arthur B. Pope, son of Mrs. N. M. Pope of Gainesville, has-been assigned to the Aero Squadron at Fort Sill, Oklahoma, being one of four out of an entire regiment to be recommended for this training. He was given a j i rating of 100 on his examination, |j a perfect score, and is now devoting himself to aeronautics in which he is showing marked proficiency. Lieut. Pope saw duty on the Mexican border with Troop F. during the entire time the Horse Guards were there, as well as at Gamp Gordon and Camp Wheeler, until he asked for a transfer to the above-mentioned service.
