MRS. CLARA E. PELLFuneral services for Mrs. Clara Pell, 93, of Lake Park were held on Saturday, Jan. 3, 1976, from the United Methodist Church in Lake Park with the Reverend W. Michael Biklen officiating at the service. Mrs. Pell passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 31 at the Dickinson County Memorial Hospital where she had been since suffering a stroke about a month ago.Clara E. Self was the daughter of John and Elura Johnson Self and was born on May 29, 1892 in Dallas County, Iowa.She attended high school in Sibley, Iowa.On September 4,1900, she was united in marriage to John Pell. They made their home in Allendorf, Sibley and Lake Park, Iowa. To this union two sons were bom.At the time of her death, Clara was 93 years, seven months and two days of age.She leaves to cherish her memory: one son, Dr. Russell L. Pell of Lake Park, Iowa; one sister Mrs. Ellen Schumann of Larch wood, Iowa; two grandchildren: John Pell of Sheldon, Iowa and Mrs. Randy (Bonnie) Anderson of Minneapolis, Minin., and six greatgrandchildren.She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and one son Robert Pell, one sister and one brother.Music was furnished by Mrs. Allan McClain as soloist and Mrs. Clayton Arnold as organist.Burial was in the Holman Township Cemetery, near Sibley, Iowa.Pallbearers were Boyd McFarland, Harry Weaver, Paul Thom, Gerald Zahren, Allan McClain and Byron Blair.The Tenoid Funeral Home of Lake Park was in charge of the arrangements.
