WW BasketballTeam Wins GameThe Wilson White Lions has-ketball team won its first district game against Taylor recently, 52 to 30.Basketball Coach Libron Washington, whose teams have played in the state playoffs for the past i two year*, is in his first yearat. Wilson White.There was a tie for high point man in the game, with Clyde 1 Wallace and Roosevelt Clark making 13 points each. Dan I Thornton, a fourth year letter-man for the Lions, made 12.I Co-captain Elvis Thomas, another fourth year letterman, accounted for nine points during j the game.Coach Washington said that standout players in the Taylor game included Wallace, Thorn-s ton and Clark.
