Mount Dora this week mourned the death of Mrs. Marion Wilson Burton, 75, a beloved resident here for 25 years. She died Sunday’ at her home, Clayton and Liberty st. Mrs. Burton had been in ill health for five years. Prior to her illness, she was known as “Grandma” to many Mount Dora children and a true friend to her neighbors for her many kindnesses. Born in Edenville, Mich., she was married Dec. 6, 1892 to Frank E. Burton. After they came to Mount Dora, they became active in real estate and the garage business. Mrs. Burton leaves besides her husband, two brothers, Bernard Wil son of Seattle, Wash., and Raleigh Wilson of Edenville. Funeral services were held at the First Methodist church, with Rev. George Gibson officiating. Burial was in Forest cemetery with Reh baum and Co. in charge. Pallbearers were Albert Baker, Luther McKin ney, Ralph Woodard, Louis Gilmore, W. C. McWhorter and Rollin Javens.
