Mr. lt;arr waain his 82nd year, wonderfully preserved in hoth mind and body, and at the lime of his dentil was agent for the ('lineman Nursery, making a good support for himself. He was a Confederate soldier, a lieutenant in the La. Cavalry, lie was a consistent--member of the Presbyterian Church. He is survived by several children and many grandchildren. He spent much of his time In the home of his son her’e. am had many C.ibsland friends who will miss him. The remains were corijjfl to Athens for interment in the family burying ground there. We extend sympathy to the bereaved.
