Williamson.MAVN1E KDWAKDS “It was the night before Christmas,'* when every one war'merry, that two young hearts were made doubly joyful at Bethany Id. E. church, Reedvilie, for it was then that Mr. Garnett Ray Haynic and Miss Elbe Kay Edwards were pronounced man and wife by Rev. Jno. A. Cuthriell. The scene was a beautiful one and was witnessed by a large number of relatives and friends of the popular young couple. Miss Virginia C. Edwards played the wedding march, the music being turned by Mr. John H. Haynic. Miss Florence E. Edwards was maid of honor, whilst he groom was attended by Mr. Americus J. Douglass as best man. Messrs. Howard T. Rice, Fitzhugh L. Harding, Owen M. Booth and Theo. A. Jett were the ushers. The bride wore an imported lace robe over white satin made empire effect with miriad sash and trimmed in plaiting s of chiffon. She also wore a Tulle veil caught with orange blossoms. The Maid of Honor was gowned in pink chiffon over satin. Miss Virginia Edwards* dress was a creation of white net over silk. All the gentlemen wore black. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. E. W. Edwards, of Rerdville, and is very popular in lower Northumberland. Mr. 11 ay me is aprosperous young business man of that section and is son of Mr. and Mrs. G. R. Haynic. sr. They received many handsome and useful presents.
