A Fine Eagle.Anton Schmidt recently bought one of the finest eagles that was ever brought to Attica. It Is a big one, measuring six feet eight inches from tip to tip of wing. It is a dark golden color and bv some is called a golden eagle, altho it is probably a young bald eagle, the characteristics of that variety not making themselves prominent until the bird is two years old. This eagle was captured by Hugh Blackwell, (’lav Horn and Mose Davis, on Frank Brier's place near Oarhondale in Warren county. They shot at it, but luckily came only close enough to stun it badly enough to capture. The bird takes kindly to Its confinement, as It has a hearty appetite. It is quite tame, too.
