Brick Chapel.The usual Christmas festivities were indulged in by the people of this vicinity, and the utmost good order prevailed throughout the holidays. There were no drunken brawls, fights or other disturbances to mar society, which are so common in some localities during (1hrist-inas times.Our Sunday school had a tree in the I church, charging a small admittance fee, j and realizing quite a neat little sum,; which will he appropriated for the wants of the school.The real estate trade is quite brisk in i this part of the county, several farms having changed hands within the last few weeks. Asbury O’Hair has purchased the Corban Priest farm; Ciias. Frakes and Thomas Gardner, the Yer-million farm, and Bascom O’Hair has traded for Isaiah Starr's place.
