PATRICIA CONROY/You Can't Resist (WEA).Canadian country singer Patricia Conroy has put together a great, often tough, album that more often resembles vocal-pop-rock than country.The biggest complaint with You Can't Resist is that the CD is so short. It's only 36 minutes, a length terribly short for a rock release but not out of line for country.Conroy is gaining a good deal of success and radio play with the first single, Somebody’s Leaving, a song of both resolve and regret over a departed lover.Conroy hasn’t shied away from strong material. There are several other outstanding tracks here, such as the first song What Else Can I Do,- u J -.If u T T\nnHWanna Be The One and Crazy Fool.Conroy’s voice is mature and refined and carries an underlying strength.
