As seems to be the case with almost all hits packages these days, all the big hits are not included.Bitter Tears, among others, is missing from this collection, even thought, at 60 minutes, there’s more than enough time to sandwich in a couple of more tunes.There are also the standard couple of new songs here to garner some radio play. The disc’s leadoff single, The Strangest Party, is a strong, beat-driven rocker.The Australian six-member INXS group has been putting out strong albums for more than 14 years, The Greatest. Hits is a strong package that chronologically covers those years, spanning the funk of New Sensation and groove of Suicide Blond to the harmonies of Disappear and the subdued dignity of Beautiful Girl ★★★V2John Lyons
