Mrs. Herbert MillerUHfflCHSVILLE - Mrs. Bertha Miller, 80, of 620 N. Dawson st. died Friday night in Twin City Hospital after being seriously ill 2 weeks.Bom at West Jefferson, she was a daughter of the late William and Christina Burtchin Kalish and had resided heresince 1912. She was a memberof the First Methodist Church, its WSCS and Johnson Bible Class, Order of Eastern Star, Order of Amaranth, White Shrine and of Quaker Council.Her first husband, Daniel Lingafelter, died in 1939.Surviving are her husband, Herbert; a daughter, Mrs. Joe (Helen) Davis of Centerburg; a son, William of Boynton Beach, Fla., 3 step-children, Myron Miller of Philadelphia, C. Eugene of Greenville, S.C., and Mrs. Henry (Grace) Green of Markham, Va.; a brother, William of Piekerlon; 6 grandchildren; 8 step-grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Two brothers also preceded her in death.Services wiil be Monday at 2p.m. in Uhrich-Hostettler Funeral Home with Rev. Arden Beck officiating. Interment will be in Evergreen Burial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9.
