Peorian, Brother Of Castleton Man, Is Interred Here• ’ • * tFuneral services for Edward Van Winkle, 65, of Peoria, brother of James Van Winkle of Castlbton, were held Tuesday morning from the Wilt ton Mortuary In Peoria. Burial was In the Wyoming cemetery.Mr. Van Winkle died Saturday In St. Francis hoslptal In Peoria.The son of George and Mary Ellen Green Van Winkle, he/Was born September 28, 1882, at Plymouth. He was married to Gladys Carnes, who survives, at Burlington, la., May 10, 1922.Besides his widow and brother Tamos, he Is survived by five daughters: Mrs. Mildred Emerson of Roanoke, Mrs. Ellon Houston, Mrs. Bernice C. Cornell and Miss Mary Van Winkle, nil of Peoria and Mrs. Helen Brooks of McCarty Acres, Peoria; two sons, I*oo C. Van Winkle of Mb-:omb ahd Woodrow W. Von Wlnklo.of: Blandlnsvllle; two sisters, Mrs, Myrtle Mahlo of Rook Island and Mrs. Mamie Adams of Stronghurst and 12 grandchildren.
