Weyburn was returning to Auburn from an army camp in Maine where he had been visiting his brother, Captain Robert O. Weyburn, Jr., when he suffered a ruptured appendix. Resulting complications were fatal despite several operations and blood transfusions.Well-known on the Auburn campus, Weyburn was a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and the Omega Tau Sigma, national veterinary fraternity. Attending the funeral from Auburn were Dr. and Mrs. Joe Sledge, Jimmy Carney, and Homer Hamlin, all of the OTS.Weyburn is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. R. O. Wey-
