Weedville, Pa, Jan. 6.--Represent atives 8. V. Bateman, E. EB. Maskin and Albert E. Coppola, of the Ben netts Valley Sportsmen Association of Weetville, Pa., organized a similar association among the sportsmen of Benezette, a., Saturday, January 4, 1930. The important officers elected were C. 5. Tuttle, president, and Paul Hollingsworth, secretary. The important speakers of the evo ning were Game Protector 8. V. Bate man and Game Refuge Keeper L (Stony) Jefferson. The latter gave a Very Interesting talk on “The Con servation of Wild Game in the Section of Pennsylvania,” which was enjoyed by all present. This association is open to all true sportsmen and not only aims to keep the streams and forests well stocked but also to cooperate with the game protectors and report all violations of the law which he has knowledge of. The aim of the members of this as sociation is to do away with a great amount of violating in this section and in the seasons to come this sec tion will not have so great an amount of illegal killing of deer and elk as in the season of 1929.
