. OBITUARY.At bis home ia Le Grand. la., Dec. 2,'___ • * 3 J1S97, 3lr. B. J. Warren passed quietly away after an illness of bet one week* Deceased was bora in. Oakland county? 3!icb„ Aug. o, 1S45- He enlisted in tlie U. S. array at the age of 10, and was a private in Co. B, 11 Wis. -Vol. He served Ins country faithfully until the close of the war. when he was honorably discharged.He came to Iowa • about twent}'~five years ago and in 1376 was married to Mary Vantrose, at Griunell. There was born to them two children—Mabel J.. age 20, and Alma I, age 12. These with a wife are ^eft to mourn his loss. ' ■1 Mr. Warren and family lived on a farm near Dillon for several years Snd in 1S95 :sold out and went south,'hoping to iin-i prove his health. They returned the same i year and located at Albion, where he en-; gaged in the meat market business, re-; moving from there to-Le Grand a few: months later. . iMr.’Warren .had been in poor healthsince his discharge from the army aud! very poorly during the past year, unablej at times to get about. ........ , jj He was known where ever he lived forhis kindness and generosity always havinga smile and kind word for all—All kuevv. him as a friend.His death.was causetf by paralysis of theheart brought on by. rheumatism, fromwhich he was a great sufferer.
