His duties as chief are being split by Capt. Mike Stidham and Lt. John Villanova. The chief’s position is expected to be tilled by the end of the month.Town Manager Mike Dula has the task of sorting through 55 applicants to fill Ingle’s vacant spot.“We are in the process of narrowing those down,’’ Dula said.No interviews have been conducted so far, Dula said. The town was waiting for the holidays to pass before it started bringing people in for interviews.
