Lillie Jones RodgersLillie Jones Rodgers (nee Robertson), a resident for five years of Milwaukee, formerly 35 years in Ford Heights, died Tuesday, Jan. 4, in Milwaukee.Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at New First Church of God in Christ, Chicago, with Elder Robert Sanders officiating. Interment will be in Mount Glenwood Memory Gardens.Visitation will be from 1 to 7 p.m. Friday at Robert McCullough Funeral Home, Ford Heights.The former Lillie Robertson was born March 13, 1947, in Parkin, Ark.She is survived by a daughter, Renee Jones of Milwaukee; eight sons, Van Lester Robertson, Dana, Darren, Carlton, Cortney, Elmer Hughes III and Arlester Christopher Jones, all of Milwaukee, and Cordellis Rodgers of Milwaukee; her mother, Susie Hudson of Milwaukee; 10 sisters, Aubory Smith of Park Forest, Vanessa Payne and Antwinette Smith of Milwaukee, Sharon Gray of Aurora, Colo., Merlee Hudson of Ford Heights, Verlee Hudson of Milwaukee, Jessie Walker of Chicago Heights, Bessie Martin of Chicago, Betty Hudson of Monroe, La., and Linda Brywn of Ville Platte, La.; four brothers, Linell Smith of Milwaukee, Donell Smith of Ford Heights, Andre Smith of Sacramento, Calif., and Richard Hudson, serving in the U.S. Army; and 21 grandchildren.
