A STEPPING STONE TO SICILY VICTORY—8TH ARMY MEN ARESTORMING RAILWAY STRONGPOINT8th Army men storm a Sicilian railway station, which had offered fierce resistance while toeing' used as- a strongpoint toy retreating enemy forces in Sicily. The Allied soldiers advanced from a dis-used railway cutting taking advantage of cover offered by a water tower and railway trucks. After prolonged resistance infantry fire silenced the enemy, and the railway station was rushed and taken.
