January 12, 1019 he was united in marriage with Sadie C. Minaeer at Kirksville, Mb., the home was made at' Parnell, he farjned and worked at the carpenter trade until Oct-• ober 1938- when the family moved' to Williamsburg. iMr, and Mrs. Griffin ■ were the j parents of eighit children, Ida Joan I preceded her father in death. The I 1 surviving children are, Mary Grif- I I tin a member of the U, S. Wavrw : i stationed at Key West, Florida, Mrs -'Madeline Griffin Sperry, Williamsburg, James, Dorothy, John, Eugene, and Donald of the home. Mr. Grif- | fin is survived1 by a brother, John I Griffin of WiEiamsburg and three { sisters, Mrs. Louis Moore, Mrs. Cfras Walker and Mrs. Whiter Henry.To the bereaved family, the sin-merest sympathy is extended.
