William Bolton, Athletic Coach, Betrothed Mr. and Mrs. Matthew Ellen feene augh of 45 Grandview Avenue, White Plains, announced the en gagement of their daughter, Miss Vivian Helen Lyenaugh, to WEEam Bolton, son of Mr. and Mrs. Wil liam H. Bolton. 831 Ackerman Avenue, at a buffet supper in th e home recently. No date is set for the wedding. Miss Lyngach was graduated from White Pains High School in 1936 as one of three honor stu dents. She was graduated from Syracuse University in 1940 with an A. B. degree, magna cum laude. While there, she received a num ber of scholastic honors including election to Phi Beta Kappa in junior year, election as vice presi dent of her class, as Senior Ball Queen and section as grand mar ‘shal in charge of her class com mencement activities. Upon grad uation she was to the Syracuse faculty as an tractor in freshman English. In March, 1941, she was appointed head of the English department at the Lake George High School, which posi tion she holds at present. Mr. Bolton, a classmate of Miss Lynaugh’s at Syracuse University, was pracuated with a B. S.on Physical education. He is an in structor in physical education and coach of athletics at Berlin Hick s School in Berlin. A Christmas tree decorated the home. In the company were Mr. and Mrs. E. J. Langley, Mr. Langley’s parents, and his sister, Miss Lillie ‘Langley; Mrs. Langley’s grand mother, Mrs. Sarah Gaughan, S39; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Woolson.
