Death Of Mftlhias Morgan.After a short illness of only two weeks duration Mathias Morgan died yesterday afternoon at 3 o’clock, aged about 79 years.Mr. Morgan was bom In the parish of Kllrush, Connty Clare, Ireland, in Dec. 1814, and came to America in 1839 and lived atBinghampton, New York, for some years where lie learned the stonecutters trade. From there he went to Susquehauna county, Fa., where he was married in 1849 to Miss Patience Maher who survlyes him. The following year in company with his brother, the late Patrick Morgan, eDgaged In th8 business of taking contracts for railroad building which he followed more or less up to 1872. The last railroad work he did was on what la called the Volga liyer branch in Clayton county.He was the father of eight children, Jas. W. who died last July at Hawar-din, la; Thos.
