Gunn, an$ unanimously adopted:Resolved, That the thanks of the Spencer Yellow Jackets Rifle Company are duo to the Lafayette Riflemen lor the very polite treatment they received at a public dinner given by that independent militia company, on last Saturday, at their muster ground, at the residence of J. Clark.Resolved, That in the opinion oT this meeting the company under command of Capt. Collins is destined to become one of the finest and most flourishing militia companies in the State.Resolved, That our thanks arc due to the ladies for serving up that line, splendid, and delicious dinner.Resolved, That the proceedings of this meeting be published in the New Albany Democrat.On motion, the meeting adjourned.JOHN SHIELDS, President.John Smith, Secretary.
