ST. RAPHAEL’S CHURCH,IN DU BUQUE.Catholic Episcopal SEE of of the Wisconsin Territory.THE accounts of this Church, and the list of subscribers, are now, for the fifth time, since Nov. 1835, respectfully submitted to the consider* ation of the public.The first stone of this edifice was la id on the 15th Aug. 1835; its outside dimensions ore 40 feet by 77, its average height from the ground is 24 feet, the walls are 25 inches thick, and measure with the foundations 715 perch of 22 cubit Icet, and 1456 superficial square feel of hewed stone; all the rough walls on the outside are well plastered ; the roof is covered by 30 squares of shingles, and 128 feet of copper troughs 30inches wide, and 35feet 10 inches; all this is guarded by a parapet wall; the ceiling is arched, and over the sanctuary there is a pan-neled dome, semicircular: there are 16 windows, 4 doors, 29 squares of oak floor tongued and grooved, and a spacious room under the sanctuary. The Church wants the inside plastering, seats, gallery, and altar. There are 2,500 feet of lumber tor the making of part of these works.CASH PAID.To Mr. Wm.
