Percy D. Chisman, Blakesburg, diesPercy D. Chisman, 80. a lifetime resident of the Blakesburg area died at his home there Sat-urday.Funeral services were held this afternoon at he Knedler Funeral Home in Blakesburg with Kenneth Ross of the Open Bible Church of Clear Lake officiating; Burial was in the BiaxesDurg •• Cemetery.Mr. Chisman was born Oct. 15, 1880 north of Blakesburg, the son of Kent 'and Fidelia Forsythe Forsythe Chisman. He was employed by the Milwaukee Railroad as a section ‘ man out of Blakesburg for 25 years. He retired in 1954. He was married April 20, 1.910 in Ottumwa to El-zora Thompson who survives.Also surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Virginia Ward of Blakesburg': a son, Paul E. of Blakesburg; four grandchildren six great grandchildren; a brother, James of Chandler, Ariz.; and a sister, Mrs. Gertrude Dorothy of Blakesburg.
