OBITUARY.Phoebe Ann Hen by, daughter of Matthew and Ruth Symons, was born in Fayette county, Ind , near Dublin, June 6, 1839. Her youth and young womanhood was spent in that locality until her marriage with Cbaa. Thornburg in 1802. To tbi.s union three children were born. Two died in youth, Chas. Thornburg, now a minister of the Gospel, being the only surviving member of that family. The husband and father died in 1865. In 1872 she married Quinton Ragley. Three children weie given to this family, Thoma®, Mrs. Emma Butler, of Dublin, and Mrs. Ella Wilson, of Cambridge City. This husband and father died in 1883, the widow again i being left in the world with her family to meet the problems of life. She I kept her family together aud married j ' Alfred Henby Feb. 5, 1JSH5, and has resided near Dublin through all these •years. 8he united with the Friends church at Dubliu near 13 years ago, remaining a member until her death. She became difficult of hearing some years ago, which distur ed the benefits of church service to her, but she i^ad her Bible daily, this being the rule and custom of her latter life, She spoke to her daughter Ella that the time of her departure was drawing near, though still able to be about the bouse. Suddenly on Tuesday after-uoon a stroke of paralysis came upon her. under which she faihd rapidly, and was released from the further obligations of this life and of suffering on December 21, 1910, closing a life of 71 years, 6 months and 21 days, leaving a husband, two sons and two daughters aud other relatives to mourn the loss of a loved and dear one.
