Hanson.In a speech tournament held in November at Homewood-Flossmoor high school, Chris Schaack again placed among the top contestants. She tied for fourth place in the verse reading category against 45 contestants, missing a tournament award by one point.Speech team members are also planning to conduct a bake sale on January 8 and 9 to raise money to send students to a speech workshop during the summer.Chris Schaack and Jan Zavodny attended last year’s workshop, held at Illinois State university in Normal.Stagg First Quarter Honor Roll ListedCounselors at A. A.
